Helphire We have been working with Helphire for a number of years relocating within and between premises. On their recent relocation into a new Headquarters building in central Bath we worked with their designers to deliver and install new furniture throughout both buildings, and to relocate all staff from two other buildings in Bath into the new site. All relocation work was carried out in a number of phases outside of normal working hours with a minimum of disruption to the normal operation of the business.
Somerfield Somerfield were upgrading their premises with a 150,000 sq. ft. refurbishment. Interchange worked with their designers and project managers over a 15 phase implementation period to clear and repopulate all areas of the building with a minimum of disruption to the business. Our project team controlled the works on a day to day basis, modifying the move programme to suit the requirements of the business and the refurbishment teams. Info Support Info Support had acquired a new site at the Coped Hall Business Park in Wootton Bassett and needed an internal refit to meet the requirements for their expanding business. Within 3 weeks from appointment Interchange were able to install new offices into the existing open plan environment and install extra fire detectors and sounders. We liaised with Building control to make sure that any requirements needed for a safe working environment were stringently met. Our project manager made sure that all deadlines were met, so that Info Support were able to move into their building on time without any downtime. Clarke Willmott Interchange worked with the appointed designers at Clarke Willmott to completely re-plan three floors of their building. All existing furniture was in good condition but did not suit the working requirements of the office as the client wanted to be more open plan. Interchange reviewed the existing furniture componentry and advised that a large proportion of the existing components could be re-used and by adding new critical items such as worksurfaces and low screens the desired effect could be achieved without disposing of their entire stock of furniture. This meant that all metalwork from the existing furniture was recycled into the new scheme. Added to this Interchange undertook the project management and refurbishment works for the entire refurbishment programme and achieved the project completion almost entirely out of working hours with a minimum of disruption to the business. Interchange have subsequently completed another relocation for their Birmingham offices.
Connexions Somerset Interchange worked with Connections Somerset and YMCA Frome to design and fit out a basic listed building space on the ground floor of an old foundry in Frome town centre. We installed new partitioning to form an entrance lobby and meeting room, laminate flooring to the general area, custom built joinery for library and reception, and new office furniture. Both organisations being of charitable status there was a very low budget availability for this project, and Interchange delivered all elements of the refurbishment within very tight cost parameters.
Golledge Electronics Interchange were appointed by Golledge Electronics to relocate their company to new premises close to their existing base. There were three different elements to the move, the administration offices, the extensive electronic parts store, and the requirement to test and certificate all of their portable appliances. Three teams were allocated to each task, commencing with the office relocation. The electronic parts store needed to be packed sequentially and safely to prevent damage, mixing or loss, transported in our air suspension vehicles, and placed into the new bin system at the new premises. This was achieved without downtime for the parts store. During the office relocation our PAT testing engineers carried out all testing of the equipment while it was disconnected for the move, and upon reconnection all items were passed as fit for use. GKN Aerospace Engineering Services Interchange have worked with GKN on a number of projects over the past few years. For their East Cowes project we were tasked to plan, refurbish, project manage, supply new furniture and relocate staff within a manufacturing and test environment. We worked with local contractors to achieve the desired result, providing building alteration works, flooring, lighting, redecoration, and staff relocation. All works were completed within a short timescale of three weeks. |
