Interchange were commissioned to carry out a full refurbishment and fit out of a series of ageing Portakabins alongside a railway track in Newport. We planned a phased refurbishment around approximately 40 staff who needed to keep working normally throughout the project.
Works carried out included a complete rewire of the electrical system, including clean power for the servers. Replacement double glazed windows were fitted alongside the railway elevation, and the premises were fully redecorated and recarpeted. A new kitchen was fitted after enlarging the area by removing a store room.
A mix of new and second user furniture was supplied and installed, all old furniture was recycled through our furniture recycling centre.
