When Land Forces UK needed to relocate their operations to a new HQ in Hampshire, Interchange were commissioned to work with their planning team to plan and execute the relocation of 2,200 staff from several outlying bases. As part of the planning process all sites and departments were surveyed by our Project Manager to ascertain the specific move requirements for each phase.
Interchange responded to numerous changes within the move process to enable each department to remain operational throughout the move process. The main project was undertaken over a period of three months and involved relocating between 75 and 200 staff per day for one or two days per week.
The maximum downtime for each phase for the relocation task was one working day, which was met on all 16 phases with all departments remaining operational.
